" Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower you've ever been to stand up taller than you ever were " The rate of teen suicide increases every year in Canada. Unfortunately, in Canada suicide is one of the top ten leading causes of death. In 2009, it was the second leading cause of death among individuals aged 15-34 years. In 2011, 528 youth decided to end it. Teens are at risk to end their lives. Why? They are emotionally unstable, they go through bullying, depression, family issues and more. In the heat of the moment they think that they're alone, they can't trust anyone because every time they tried it ended bad. Suicide doesn't only affect youth but everyone. The victimes like the families. In 2012, there were 3,926 suicides in Canada and so many of them were young lives. 3,926 people could of had a bright future. 3,926 could have made a difference in this world. And mostly, 3,926 innocent lives were gone due to that mental illness. Approximately 11 people will end their lives today in Canada. The numbers keeps growing more and more. Why so? because we don't talk about it, we don't prevent enough. Suicide has always been a taboo subject and we need to put an end to this silence. What It's Time To Smile Again is trying to do, is to break this silence and reach out for those souls that are falling. They need to understand that they will never be alone and they will be able to trust again. Suicide is a serious mental illness that can't stay in silence. Our goal is to give them hope, to show them that if you keep fighting it will get better. They got to live the life they've dreamed of. Stand with us, be part of the movement to stop this scourge from spreading and help them get out of this loop. Let's all take hands and hold each other. we will not let you fall because we care about you. We will help you get back on track and be happy again. Always keep the fight no matter what! " Sometimes things happen to us that we just don't understand. These things sometimes become the doors and windows to our destiny." - My prayers go to all the families that have lost someone from suicide.
